To the north of Libourne, the “Les Dagueys” park lies within a vast 150-hectare (370-acre) natural reserve consisting of meadows, woods and tracks. A 6-km (3 ¾ -mile) local trail is ideal for cross-country cycling, running or rambling.
Libourne’s International Rowing Complex is in this setting, which is so well suited to outdoor sports and recreation. It comprises buildings – the Rowing and Canoeing Centre and finishing tower – and an Olympic-sized lake. It is one of the very few in Europe to be situated only a few minutes from a town centre.

The “Les Dagueys” park also features :
  • A total ban on all motor vehicles except for motorboats and ground vehicles necessary for safety and the supervision of boating activities
  • Several acres of open space available for parking and other areas necessary for the organisation of international events.
  • Disabled access to all premises and practise areas.
  • A public transport service provided by local “Libus” buses.
